Almost done, but I ran into a curiosity. As some of you may be aware, I break the audio into 30 minutes chunks, because turboscribe.ai only allows 30 minutes x 3 files per day max.
This particular file is 50m14s long. The first 30 minutes audio was 51 Mb, and yielded an SRT file of 39 kB.
The second audio file is 20m15s, audio file is 34Mb, yet the SRT file is only 4.96 kB.
On examination, this second file has a very large chunk of conversation ignored.
I cannot understand why, as I boosted the sound in both audio files to 200%, and the audios were extracted in the same pass with the same settings.
Is this an Turboscribe issue? I don't know. I'm going to put the second file through another transcriber, just to double check.
