DMCA - Digital Millennium Copyright Act
Takedown Notice Instructions
To file a copyright infringement notification, you will need to send a written notification via the available contact method provided via our contact form, which must include the information required by Section 512(c)(3) of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
To complete your request, specify these informations:
- Identify yourself as the owner of copyrighted work or exclusive rights that you believe were infringed, or a person acting on behalf of the owner. Provide a physical or electronic signature.
- Specify the copyrighted work that you believe is being infringed. For multiple works, provide a representative list.
- Identify the location of infringing materials by providing URLs on this site. Do not send attachments (e.g., images, PDFs). Include all URLs in the letter body for faster processing.
- Provide your contact information, including your name, address, phone number, and email. If acting on behalf of the copyright owner, describe your affiliation (e.g., attorney, agent).
- State your good faith belief that the use of materials is unauthorized by the copyright owner, its agents, or the law.
- Declare the accuracy of your notice under penalty of perjury. Include this statement: "I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that I am the (copyright) owner or am authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed."
NOTICES SHALL INCLUDE ALL 6 POINTS. Incomplete notices will not be processed. As per detailed on 17 U.S. Code § 512(c)(3):
(B) Incomplete notification— To the extent that material or activity claimed to be infringing is not substantially in compliance with the provisions of subparagraph (A), the notification shall not be considered under paragraph (1)(C)...
Please write in English.
Once again, if a DMCA notice does not substantially comply with the requirements listed in 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)(A), we are not required to act on it.
Correctly filled notices have a 100% deletion rate.
If we receives proper notification of claimed copyright infringement, we will respond expeditiously by removing the infringing material.
However, we will not send re-confirmations of takedown actions to the reporter. Please allow a reasonable number of days for the case to be reviewed. If no action occurs within a reasonable period, please contact us again for reassessment.
