Forget the other methods to use Whisper, Faster-Whisper-XXL works great with his VADs for better timestamps.
The options i put, are good to transcribe English. I don't see any hallucinations or loop errors during my tests.
My tests :
Movie "Le feu sous la peau" - English audio - duration 1h32m59s.
Transcription with Largev2 takes less than 8min.
Transcription with Largev3-turbo takes less than 4min.
I watched the first few minutes of the movie and the timestamps seem good but a bit short.

Truc: If you'd like to change the help page and add this page as a preference, please. And change the text "I've got great results with it" from the one for insanely-fast-whisper to "outdated." Thanks.

I've a few "5 minutes" samples I always use to test a new ASR. I've just tested your new Whisper page with:
- English with very bad quality soundtrack (old VHS)
- Japanese with very good quality sountrack (recent bluray)

In both case, your page gave me the best results I've ever had! Amazing!

And if you have a good PC (Windows or Linux) with a great graphics card, you can use it on your PC with Subtitle Edit, PotPlayer, etc.

Don't worry about the screenshots, it's practically the same thing. No need to edit them.
