The story takes place in a declining Japanese hot spring inn (onsen), run by a struggling couple, Shinji and his wife, played by Melody Hina Marks. Shinji, the owner, pressures his wife to adopt a desperate strategy to save the inn: offering "special" services to guests, blending hospitality with intimate interactions, to attract more clientele.

Initially, Melody is reluctant, facing her husband's pressure and the threat of divorce if she refuses. The script depicts a progression where she transitions from hesitation to more active involvement, driven by circumstances and the expectations of the guests. The dialogues reveal a complex power dynamic, with Shinji overseeing and sometimes manipulating the situation, while the guests express satisfaction with the unique experience provided by the inn.

A month after the events, the inn experiences a surge in popularity, as evidenced by the difficulty in securing reservations. Melody appears to have embraced her role, finding a balance between her duty to the inn and a form of personal satisfaction.
