"Meine versaute Zwillingsschwester" (My Naughty Twin-Sister)
A film from that great German era, with Kelly Trump in the dual title role.
As the title and cover suggest, this film will show us a double Kelly Trump: the good, slightly uptight girl, and the shameless "bad girl."
It features the classic actors of that era (a great cast), but there’s a problem: the film is unfinished... I’ll come back to that at the end of this article.
In addition to the dialogue, a voice-over provides details about the story to save time for the explicit scenes. The film opens with Doris (Kelly Trump), a successful fashion designer returning home.
Klaus (Jay Lassiter), her boyfriend, joins her a bit early while she’s not yet ready to go to the opera to see "The Magic Flute." Ultimately, they both agree to play a different kind of "flute" (sic).
Personal note: if I were Kelly Trump’s boyfriend, arriving early and finding her already naked, we’d have PLENTY of time to have sex before without being late for a 3-hour opera (and maybe even do it again afterward) haha :D
It’s a good scene, Kelly Trump is very pretty. However, I’ve always thought Jay Lassiter looked too much like a "junkie"...
And for a girl supposed to be "uptight", I find Doris to be very opened and sensual!
At the end of this scene, Doris gets a call from her sister, Cleo, who tells her she’ll be arriving soon.
Carlos, Doris’s driver, has to go back to pick up some clothes she forgot at home. Once there, he runs into the maid, Clara (Olivia de Treville), who is sexually insatiable.
We return to Klaus, Doris’s boyfriend, who is expecting to meet her. But in fact, it’s Cleo, Doris’s evil twin sister, who shows up.
Klaus doesn’t realize this and thinks Doris has turned into a "bad girl" to please him. This time, he gets an anal scene. Cleo leaves, and Klaus still thinks it was Doris.
Let’s be realistic for a moment (haha :D): how could Cleo know how Doris’s pussy was groomed to look exactly like her?
The next scene is between Jack (Steve Holmes) and Bridget (Dru Berrymore). Jack is Doris’s business partner, and Bridget is a student. Jack says a third-semester student should do better, and they agree on a "make-up" session.
I’ve always had a soft spot for Dru Berrymore, whom I find really beautiful, but not always well showcased in her films. That’s somewhat the case here: the clothes, even for the late 1990s, don’t suit a girl her age. The same goes for her hairstyle. That said, it must be noted that she was still 30 years old when she shot this film!
Jack points out that she has small breasts, but personally, I think they’re gorgeous, and that’s one of her strengths.
Cleo and Doris call each other to figure out when to meet up. Doris says she’s still busy with work, including meeting a body-painting artist, and suggests meeting afterward.
Ever the villain, Cleo has an idea: she’ll once again impersonate her sister and meet the artist Francesco before her.
During this scene, what’s amusing is that there’s a functioning pendulum clock. If you, like me, enjoy "Behind The Scenes," you can notice that the scene starts at 10:30 and ends at 12:00. So, this 19-minute scene in the film actually took 1.5 hours in real life.
We also notice that the scene with Doris, which is supposed to take place after, was filmed before. Indeed, Doris arrives at her appointment with Francesco after Cleo. Francesco is thus very familiar with her, but Doris doesn’t understand until she finds her sister’s jacket. She then vows to get revenge!
Cleo goes to meet Carlos, Doris’s driver. While pretending to be Doris, Cleo seduces him and asks him to come to her place tomorrow morning and have sex with her in bed, no matter what she says.
The scene continues with Carlos having sex with a barmaid.
...and the film ends there. While Doris has said she’ll get revenge, and we’ve just learned about Cleo’s plan to send the driver to her bed, the film cuts to a black screen...
I don’t think a scene is missing, as there’s nothing in the trailers to suggest an additional scene. I think the film was planned in two parts, and the second part was never filmed... :(
