Xena XXX Parody

Warning: this summary contains spoilers.

I was a teenager when the series aired on television, yet I never watched it. Then came the 2010s with its "Porn Parodies" and... Lexi Belle...
So, I settled on this film, and the first images convinced me of its quality.

The casting of the actresses is good because they lookalike the real actresses (Lucy Lawless and Renée O'Connor): Phoenix Marie as Xena and Lexi Belle as Gabrielle.

Gabrielle would like to spend some quiet time with Xena, but duty calls. Indeed, Autolycus is scamming village women by cheating at cards. To avoid draining their savings and angering their husbands, these poor women prefer to pay in kind.

Now in the world of the gods, Ares warns Aphrodite that he will tell Zeus how Cupid is behaving in the mortal world. Aphrodite tries to change his mind without success. Finally, on the condition that she gives herself to him, Ares grants Aphrodite one more day to find Cupid.
I love the style of shoes worn by Nicole Aniston, very sexy.

On the villains' side, Draco discusses with Alti (Juelz Ventura). He explains his plan to capture Xena, and this plan involves Cupid's intervention. We understand why Ares wants to see Zeus: Cupid spends his time drinking and is completely drunk :)
I find Alti / Juelz Ventura stunningly beautiful (look at those eyes...).

Alti doubts the power of Cupid's arrows. Draco then orders a test on her.

Then many things fall into place for the continuation: Aphrodite asks Hercules for help, Xena and Gabrielle come to stop Autolycus but fall into Draco and Alti's trap, and a fight scene follows that’s not so bad for a porn film.
Cupid, drunk, misses his target, and the arrow hits Gabrielle.

Hercules arrives to lend a hand to Xena. Xena thanks him for always being by her side.
The scene that follows is the one that struck me the most: at several points, Phoenix Marie suggests to Rocco Reed (Hercules) to be more aggressive. These dialogues don’t seem scripted, so it feels like a genuine desire. Phoenix even asks him to choke her, and Rocco ends up saying something like, "No, I don’t want to hurt you."
I find this scene truly hybrid between film and reality, and I found this tenderness very touching.

Then comes the final battle. I commend the effort because it’s not a sloppy 5-second scene, but a real choreographed fight lasting a minute. Really well done.

Then, as we say in french: "after the effort, the reward": Gabrielle finally gets the intimate moment she was eagerly awaiting!

Xena XXX is a very good parody, with great costumes and great fight scenes.
Kudos to the actors and the entire team!
